Mcbe was part of the pre-school group. They sang 3 or so songs during the offertory.
I was on the wrong end of the pew and did not have a good view
C took my camera and got some better photos
in his defense, I did see him doing some of the actions
to the songs
he looks so young
(Mcbe's head is just above the end of the pew)
thankfully, some of the kids knew all the songs
a small smile for his fan club of both sets
of g'parents, mommy, daddy & big sister
We rushed home to have yet another low-iodine meal prepared by OFD-I-L before rushing back to church for the afternoon program, "A Tree Lot Christmas," presented by the elementary and middle school students. (Mcbe fell asleep on the way to church and slept through most of Ms. W's program.)
Ms. W in the red plaid
a large cast for "A Tree Lot Christmas"
Ms. W knew all the songs
this is why we spend December at home
just too precious to miss
Then it was back home for Christmas goodies, a low-iodine minestrone soup, new pjs and a movie for the kiddos and bed as Ms. W had two more days of school.
OFD-I-L prepared tasty, filling low-iodine meals for the weekend. There were leftovers for the next couple of days. OFD prepared the Saturday noon meal. I prepared the Tuesday evening meal. K & C had a date night (dinner & Star Wars movie) on Monday evening. I took Ms. W to school on Monday and Tuesday on my way to the medical campus to begin the final stage of my treatment. Ms. W would sit on someone's lap, with a blanket, when she got home from school. She did not play with any toys, just watched tv and enjoyed cuddle time. She REALLY wasn't feeling well. We left them Wednesday morning and prepared for my Mother and brothers on Wednesday evening for Christmas at our house. That is the other reason we spend December at home; Christmas with siblings. Just too precious to miss.
One more post to the Family Christmas Weekend...
