Tuesday was our final night at home before heading south. It was a Miss W Night, starting at 5:30 with a volleyball game at O'Gorman High School.
The first 9th grade team played 3 sets in their match which caused the B team games to start later than the coach and ladies in chorus (4 of them) would have liked.
The B team won their first set 25 to 23. It was a sweet win as the team has not had very many of them this season. The four ladies in chorus left after the first set, leaving the B team short on mid blockers. The team lost the last two games.
Then it was a mad dash across town (during rush hour traffic) to Lincoln High School for the Fall Chorus Concert starting at 7:00 pm.
9-12th graders on the stage and about 30 guest 8th graders in the audience that would join the choir on stage for the first and last song.
6 specialty choir groups and two selections with the combined choirs
Cadet Choir sang two selections
Girls Chorale sang 2 songs
9th grade girls selected through auditions
Miss W
Concert Choir sang 3 selections
Women of Note sang 1 song

Outstanding voices from all the student groups. We were out of the auditorium by 7:51! What a great end to our time in SD!
