Kari is here from the cold north country visiting this week. Although I have been busy with the cancer walk this past weekend, we took the time to grill and eat outside yesterday and today for our evening meals.
We enjoyed steak Sunday night for dinner after a day at Mesa Market.
We ate outside again tonight, grilled pork chops. Then we had a fire and enjoyed the company of our neighbors and their friends from Kansas and Idaho.
Most of us enjoyed smores - gooey, sticky, marshmallows squished between chocolate graham crackers. Mmmmm, good! (Thanks for the great photo, Sondra!)
Look at the cool colors in the flames! I wasn't sure if the rainbow colors would show in the photo, but they did. The colored flames come from special coated pine cones, a real hit at any backyard fire pit party.
Looks like fun! Those pine cones really do look beautiful. We've got too much snow on the ground to get our fire pit out!
