Daughter Projects

Kari asked her dad last winter if he would make a side table for her sofa. She wanted it to 'match' the other pieces he has made. Bench  (We also made a side table for her chair, but I can't find any photos.) Hubby bought the wood and cut it while we were in AZ. The plan was to have it finished for her B-Day in May, but the kitchen makeover (and geocaching) took over our lives. Then goal the was to have it completed before the July B-Day party for Marek. And we did.

The wood has been cut, sanded and assembled.
He then took it apart and I did my part...

Staining, and staining, and staining and then
varnishing, varnishing & varnishing.

TA DA!
She loves it!

Then she had another other project....

A print and a solid
Fabrics for a chair and a foot stool

She wanted to recover the cushion on a chair she had found

I had a thick piece of foam just sitting around needing
an assignment. This seemed like a match.

Hubby cut the foam

Hubby and I wrapped it and stapled and Kari trimmed

TA DA!
A more formal look for the chair

This is for the footstool...the NEXT project.
