A Geo Outing

Sunday was a beautiful day, way too nice to stay inside, so we planned a geocaching excursion to someplace new to us, Lake Vermillion. We weren't the only people enjoying the beautiful April day, but when you are geocaching it is easy to practice social distancing.

The photos are a timeline of our afternoon.

our first geocaches were found at this cemetery

and the spillway from the west side of the river

We didn't see anyone catching fish along the shoreline. Lots of people were also enjoying the perfect April day. It was a good day for us as we found 18 geocaches, drove to an area we had not been before, and got to enjoy all the signs of spring.
