We've not experienced hail during our almost 10 day stay, but a 'weather system' has moved through every day, usually with some strong winds and sometimes rain, as was the case today. Today's system brought some comfortable temperatures...some relief from the almost 100 degree temps and constant running AC.
Several campers lost their awnings this afternoon. The winds come so quickly, even if you are around, you move fast to secure the awning and other yard and camping equipment. We have learned throughout our many years of camping in the Hills to never leave camp with the awning out.
Here are some pictures from today's little system.
It was the rainbow that caught my attention.
Lots of angry looking clouds.
