AZ Wildfowers

We did a little road trip last week driving south of Superior. We came across one of the most colorful display of AZ wildflowers in the ditch. It was so awesome, Curt stopped without my asking him too!

to the left are desert marigold
the other yellow orange are Mexican poppies

the blue are desert bluebells

the little yellow ones in the forefront are Gordon's Bladderpod

I 'think' I have identified them correctly...

Many of the cactus are beginning to bloom, so I will post pictures
of some varieties & their blooms in the next week or so.

  1. The desert flowers are magnificent, such beautiful shades of yellow and blue. I don't think we have ever stayed that long to enjoy them in person. This is second best thanks to you!
