Spring at Home

We had a couple of beautiful days the end of April; temps in the 70s and 80s beautiful. I grabbed the camera and took photos of what we have done since getting home earlier in the month and what Mother Nature has been doing.

the transplanted, gifted rhubarb survived the winter
and is slowly growing

the tulips are not very tall, but they do have buds
(they flowered this past weekend)
the rain of earlier in the week was very timely

I put the solar decor out back to 'dress' up the flower bed
some of them need replacing

the bird feeder was filled and had some visitors

the red oak has buds and will soon be leafing

the decor we brought back from AZ
so the kids can find our house
because our house looks like the other 12 on the street

a pair of yellow finches found the feeder & rested in the tree
during one of our happy hours
now I need to get some finch food
