Road Trip

We took a road trip today after church. We drove 50 miles for lunch!

The pictures are taken from the back seat of the truck, while it is moving and
through the window glass. It was too cold to turn down the window.
The defroster and heater ran most of the trip.

The drive to Globe and onto Superior is one of the prettiest drives in the area.
I love the craggy mountains.
Notice how green it is again this year. AWESOME!

For all the people back home, we saw snow today.
We were about 2500 feet higher in elevation when the snow appeared on the mountain side.
Notice the dreary clouds.
A J had rain last night and this morning.
Thankfully, no snow at 2880 feet.
Not all our days are sunny.
Temps at 5000 feet was 36ยบ, warmer in the valley, but not much!

The mountains were doted with waterfalls.
Again, the truck was moving right along.
This was the best shot I had.
It is really cool to see the water rushing down the sides of the cliffs along the road.
Not so cool when the rocks also move down the mountainside.
There were a couple of those along the way, also.

It was a good way to spend a dreary Sunday afternoon.
