We stopped for a cache and as I was about to get out of the jeep,
the moon in the afternoon sky, framed by the tree,
was too perfect not to capture.
Not sure this can be explained other than,
an anomaly.
It did have 'normal' arms.
In this area, we noticed several saguaros
with arms growing from the base,
rather than higher on the trunk,
as in the central part of the state.
And this stop's destination...
a crested saguaro.
A rather weathered, worn crest or fan.
But it does have baby arms growing
out of the crested area.

Do you have room for me in your pockets?? I would love to travel along since my days are kept busy. Love following along. Great pictures, thank you for sharing:-)
