I'm still finding glitter around the house!
On Sunday afternoon we headed to Madison for some geocaching. They, the grands, completed the Adventure Lab on the campus of Dakota State University.

Miss W did the leg work for him
and M used my phone to complete the AL for me
they found Darth Vader
it was a good time to be on a college campus
no students, a few bicyclists
looking in a window of the 'haunted' building
they really enjoyed the Adventure Lab geocaching ~

Then it was on to Prairie Village. It was a warm and very muggy day by when we got to walking in the 'town' of old buildings and artifacts. Nobody was there either, so no need for masks. Some of the buildings and all the activities were closed due to the virus, but that was okay with us. We had the village to ourselves.

I used a bathtub like that!
M played his current piano piece for me
the piano sounded quite good, so did he
W was excited to be able to walk into the houses and 'see' things
someone fired up the steam engine and gave rides
too scary to go upstairs alone, so g'pa went with them
As much time as we spend with them, I would not have guessed how much they would enjoy Prairie Village. The geocaching there...not so much! W truly enjoyed going into the houses, seeing the rooms and decor, the collection of items in the businesses, and most of all, like M, the chance to move around, run, ask questions and ponder things they learned...like what was the job of an undertaker. In spite of the heat and humidity, it was a fun afternoon for all of us!
