A City Park

The hunt for some geocaches took us to a city park in Casa Grande. Well the park wasn't in the city, and it really wasn't what I think of as a city park. It was on the outskirts of the community and I was very thankful we were in the jeep and not the van, especially on the roads/trails/paths we were driving.

Five or so of these big boulder piles were scattered
throughout the main park grounds.

Covered picnic shelters were in abundance

A geocache was hidden on this sign

A bridge over a wash, perfect for kids

Boulder climbing, a father & son from IL
They are geocachers also

Another boulder pile

The skeletal remains of a saguaro
It also contained a geocache

No snake sightings on this trip in the
desert...Oops! city park
