We attended another event in north Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago.
Sherry joined us in Lil' Red for the day.
geocachers gathering before a short hike
wildflowers along Dynamite Road
some little yellow flowers
a token purple
we met Dr. D and trez2desert at Insanity
we pulled apart shotgun shells to find the coordinates
for another cache and the needed log sheet
yup! last shell had the log
and we found the second cache
then the 5 of us gathered at a cache high in a tree
we needed a TOTT (tool of the trade) to retrieve the container
we got it down with 2 TOTTs
signed the log and tried to put it back
a 3rd TOTT was needed
just so happened a forked branch was nearby
the guys made it work...standing on tippy-toes
we ended the day in Mesa near a library and a citrus tree
tile work commemorating a citrus company in the valley
interesting bush with flowers and beans
These cute statues of kids are from another caching day
They are too cute not to share
two of the four kids
one little guy hiding behind the cactus
and this little guy between the tree and another cactus
he was hiding the cache
Probably the last of our caching adventures until we head home.
