Springtime Flowers

I posted a few photos of the blooming flowers in the two flower beds, commenting on the dry conditions of the soil and my lack of properly tending to the flower beds by getting rid of the old, brown, dead material. Neither of those has changed. There have been a few sprinkles and showers, but not enough to make the soil muddy. The flowers, however, are vibrant colors and declaring the season whether there is moisture or an attending steward of the soil.

this one spreads & spreads every year
pretty, but a nuisance

I got carried away with the pink theme for the tulips

I am hoping this variegated plant is a flower
