May Geocaching Adventures

Well, they really weren't any geocaching adventures; it was just so pleasant to be out and about in the country, enjoying the green of spring.

About 1500 new geocaches were released in northeast SD in January shortly after we left for our winter home. Once we got through all our 6 month doctor appointments in May, we headed for the gravel roads.

the yard was mowed
all the windows were intact
I think it is an active country church

visiting cemeteries is one of our favorite caching destinations

new born calf and its momma

we crossed the Continental Divide several time on those trips

Hubby did not do his 'horsey call' for this group

country school house turned residence

cowboy boots on the fence posts

even had two out houses in the back yard

this critter was moving along a field
I have no idea what it is
about the size of a badger, but not a badger

some wild flowers in the ditch

donkey keeping watch
they are used to keep coyotes away from the cattle

  1. Thanks, Doug. You have identified my mis-labeled and "have no idea" animals before. I appreciate it!
