So here is some of what has been happening, none of which is worthy of more than a sentence or two.
Each Friday, a CV/SD friend Linda, and I go for coffee at a nearby coffee shop. I enjoy a 'fu-fu' coffee and muffin and Linda orders a regular coffee and chocolate chip scone. We try to get one of the two indoor tables which look at a wall covered with an assortment of photo pictures from a local photographer. The framed pictures are for sale. The photos change now and then. Sometimes, we see a blank spot on the wall, meaning one of her photos has sold. Late in February, the artist came into the shop and placed this photo on the wall.
Today we noticed the blank space on the wall. The picture has sold to someone else who thinks this little guy/gal was just too cute. I am happy for the photographer who made a sale.

'Lil Red has had a crack in the windshield on the driver's side since shortly after she joined the family. Each season we watched the crack to see if had grown over the summer. It did grow from a 2 inch horizontal to 2 more inches vertical, but since it was at the bottom of the windshield it wasn't a hinderance. It was still the same size when we got here last October. We noticed one day last month the crack had moved from the bottom of the windshield to the very top. Hubby decided it needed to be replaced.

While 'Lil Red was getting her new window, Big Red feeling slighted by all the attention, received a rock chip in the middle of the driver's sight-line. Big Red got her chip fixed. Way too much excitement!

Like most resorts Cal-Am schedules 'big name' entertainers each winter season. We have seen some great entertainers over the years. This year I bought tickets for Michael Bolton. I like his music.
We joined SD friends for dinner prior to the concert last week.
He and his team gave a very good 90 minute concert. I was surprised to realize he is also a senior. I endured 120 minutes on an uncomfortable chair, seated on top of a large person I did not know, and looking through the head of another person I did not know. I had forgotten how I much I dislike the venue hall. Thankfully, the music made up for the seating arrangement.

And finally, some sunset photos. We spent a couple of hours on the deck of our Sioux Falls friends one evening last week, enjoying the amazing colors of the setting sun. It is one of the things I miss most when we leave here.
