The Last Night

Nearly 41 years to the month, this has been our home. Tonight will be the last night we sleep in this house. Neither of us are overly sad about leaving this house that became our home. Part of that is because there is still 'stuff to do' before all is final on Friday. Part of it, and maybe a bigger part, is the excitement of our new home...still 2 months away.

lots of good memories


finally cleaned the weeds of the smaller flower bed
without the decor, it looks bare
I took my favorite rocks


all the metal decor is off the fence
the gazing balls, solar lights & bird baths are gone
OFS & OFDIL took the rest of the rocks


the SOLD sign appeared last week
THAT made it more official
movers come Wednesday
clean house on Thursday
sign papers on Friday

and then a new adventure begins...

    Have been thinking of you and Curt. Wow, time flies, I can’t believe this is your last night in your home. So many new adventures are waiting for you both. The grands will be so excited to have you closer. Whole new ballgame😁

    Where will you be sleeping tonight and for the next two months? I'm sure you will be looking forward to relaxing after Friday is done and you have that check in hand. Best wishes on the next chapter. Looking forward to seeing pics of your new place (your forever home). Hugs to you both.
