November in a Nutshell

Yes, I realize it has been awhile since there has been a post. Sometimes, nothing exciting happens. Sometimes, whatever we do doesn't have photos to document what we did. Sometimes, I just get unenthused about finding the photos, thinking of a theme or post, writing about the photos or activity...in other words, sometimes, I just need a break. Such has been the case for the month of November. Although the November blog posts were posted in November, they happened at the end of October.

We arrived at our winter home on October 31st, unloaded/unpacked the travel trailer, put it in storage and began living winter in AZ in 90ยบ temps. We set up our back patio for social distance visiting as it has more space for arranging 4 chairs. It is now December and winter has arrived. Nighttime temps are in the 30s and 40s and daytime temps in the 60s and 70s, very pleasant for outdoor activities during the day.

So here are some photos documenting November:

some geocaching in the area-sort of how some of those Nov. days felt

loved how the mural sky matched the sky colors that day in Apache Junction

we took a couple of trips to Superior for geocaching

We had decided because of the pandemic we had traveled to AZ with our travel trailer, and because of the pandemic we would use the travel trailer this winter for short trips in AZ. Such was the 4 nights we spent in Tucson in the mid-November. Reason for the little trip? Geocaching by ourselves. Highlights were the wildlife we saw, Hubby reaching his 24K geocaching milestone, and a trip to Mt. Lemmon. (Its own blog post.)
