Road trip to AZ

Here are some random photos from the passenger side window while traveling south and west or west and south today.

We started Tuesday morning in Kansas...
I loved the reflection of the sunrise in my side view mirror; the soft oranges and pinks of the fading sunrise and the reflection of the trees in their autumn colors in the ditch.

We saw many many grain elevators in KS and OK; in fact one about every 7 miles. This one however, has been abandoned.

Near Dalhart TX we saw the sign for Milt Carter's (& others of Watertown) research & storage facilities; probably corn for Frito Lay company...

We saw these horses in New Mexico along a less traveled, quite lonely, very colorful highway 54

This alkali pond caught my eye, also along highway 54 in New Mexico...
I loved the reflection of the hillside in the bit of water left in the alkali pond.

This interesting building metal art and the unique street post art caught my eye, also somewhere on the less traveled road in NM.

We should be at our winter residence by early afternoon tomorrow.
