We found a German restaurant in historic downtown Glendale
while taking part in the Glitter & Glow Block Party.
There was a huge outdoor dining area with heaters &
fire pits AND long lines waiting to be seated.
We chose to sit inside and enjoy the warmth and
charming atmosphere.
The large beer stein on the wall caught my eye.
It's made of wine corks. I thought it was pretty cool
since my daughter-in-law saves wine corks
and makes cork boards. New idea Crystal...
Checking the menu for our dinner choices
We were entertained with accordion & baritone musicians.
Good German oom-pah-pah music!
It is still hard to beat the German food at
the Alpine Inn in Hill City or
the Kaiserhoff in New Ulm.
