We were part of an estimated 75,000 people who attended the last night of the Glendale holiday light display, the Glitter & Glow Block Party.
1.5 million lights were strung
and lighted decorations hung
amongst the trees throughout
the four blocks
of historic downtown Glendale.
Dozens of hot air balloons
including this huge polar bear
were inflated and tethered
on the streets
providing a festive atmosphere
on a chilly January evening in AZ.
I have no idea if the estimated 75,000 people showed for the party, but there were a lot of people of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities enjoying the finale of the annual Glendale Glitter & Glow Festival.
