learned this trick from a MN cacher

Pine Bluffs must have had a parade recently
this dinosaur stopped at the gas station
I noticed another dino wearing a hat, riding a trailer

a historic stop & geocache

tree growing out of a rock
the Union Pacific RR diverted the tracks around
the Tree in a Rock

a steel cable secures the rocks and tree

as we climbed to 8000' the temp dropped to 54º

notice the sweatshirts

a web cam geocache on the campus of UW in Laramie

some of the more interesting scenery in WY

interesting small travel trailer

lots of wind towers
we fought 35+ mph west winds in WY

and LOTS of snow fencing
with the open land & strong winds, I understand the reasoning

we were in petroleum country

the name of a town next to the refinery
remember those green dinosaurs in Pine Bluffs????

lots of trains, too
petroleum train meets coal or grain train
a third one was not far behind

When we got to the campground in Rock Springs this afternoon, the temp was 80º+. We traveled 475 miles and completed the day at 5:00PM. One more long travel day, then some days of staying put.
