Expanding Our Caching Destinations

While in Yuma at the Mega Geocaching Event, we weren't satisfied to look for the hundreds and hundreds of caches around Yuma, we decided to venture a little farther west.

After playing tourist on Saturday morning (post to come later)
we drove a couple of miles and found a geocache in CA.

Looks like a typical CA photo, doesn't it?
We really were in CA for this cache.

Then we drove a little farther west and then south to Mexico to look
for a couple of caches. With the help of the locals, we were successful.

The locals were very willing to help and we were very appreciative!

Then we did a little shopping...

Vanilla for daughter-in-law. $10 for 4 quarts. I KNOW...
You don't get it all, Mrs. E!

Short lines before noon

an hour later we were back in Yuma and...

jeeping in the soft, shifting sand looking for hidden treasures.

Hubby found his #900 cache Saturday afternoon in Yuma.
I am just a few short of #500. WOOT! WOOT!

It has been a fun weekend. The Mega Cache gathering is
Sunday; meal at noon, with some schmoozing, B-S-ing and learning.
