AZ Wine Country

On Friday afternoon our Green Valley hosts took us to wine country in southern AZ, around Elgin. These are photos from our first winery stop and tastings.

This was our first stop.

We were very surprised to see all the fields of vines in the area.

This was the winery's tasting room, conference and meeting rooms, and buffet every Sunday. We tasted, but didn't buy here, too dry for our taste buds. We did find some to our liking at the next stop, just a bit farther down the road. I don't think of AZ as wine country, but seeing and tasting is believing.
