State #4 of the 16 State GeoAdventure

Kansas. We met Herman & Sondra, our winter neighbors of 11 years, for brunch in Topeka. No photos were taken during the visitation. So good to talk to them and catch up on things.

Wichita was our destination for the next GeoAdventure. Our first night a major one hour thunderstorm rolled through. We had just gotten back to the campground at 7, just in time for NCIS & DWTS, when the clouds opened and it rained hard. Thankfully, no wind damage or hail at the campground.

Hedge apples are always an interesting sight. We do not have Osage Orange trees in our part of the state. Hedge apples only appear in some grocery stores about this time of year. They are not edible for humans or animals.

benefits & nuisances
